An Unrequited Kiss

Your heart is just as lovely as your face,
I can't believe you could ever love me.
Gifted with a more than human grace,
You're meant for some noble destiny.

I watch you from the sidelines, in a dream that could come true.
Yet, nonetheless, my heart is happier than it might seem.
I cradle in the warmth of your caress.
I want to be the mirror for your mesmerizing eyes.

I cannot know your heart or hear your thoughts,
But my love for you illuminates my soul.
Your looks have made me blush
& my body craves for the sweet desires you offer.

Take this as it was meant, an unrequited kiss.

For I Wanted

For I wanted to be his glasses,
He would see the world through me

For I wanted to be the strings of his guitar,
Waiting to be plucked by him only to sound sweet

For I wanted to be the ring on his finger,
I would be wrapped around his fingers

For I wanted to be the fret of his instrument,
Eagerly waiting to be touched only to be teased

For I wanted to be the pick he played with,
As I'd be held tight for as long as the melody flowed

For I wanted to be everything about him,
But most importantly, a part of him...

More Than Words Could Ever Say...

More Than Words Could Ever Say (Re-posting Old Blogs)

I love you more than words could ever say
I feel it growing in my heart each and every day
All this love I feel
Has never felt so real
You gave me something no one has ever given me
Its something you cannot see
It makes me think of only you
You love so strong, so true
This wonderful feeling you have given me
Makes me want to be with you endlessly
I want to be in your arms each and every day

To feel you warm embrace
It makes me feel so safe from harm
I love to touch your face
I love to look into your eyes
To look through you disguise
To feel your hands within mine
As our finger gently entwine
Your eyes filler with uncondiotional love
Your kisses so soft and sweet
It makes me crave a thousand more
I wonde how you heart keeps a steady beat

Beacuse mine just soars
I love the way you let me know
Just how much you love me so
I love how much you care
The love you show to me is beyond compare
I love the way you smile secretly
My eyes are kept on you all the while

I love to hear you say "OK!"
You say it atleast once a day
I love the way you apologise
Because it makes me realise
That what you did, was done unintentionally
And that your love still remains

Even though I'm strange
You dont want me to change
You say that I'm right
Jus when we're about to fight
I hate to see you mad
I hate to see you sad
It makes me feel so bad

What you feel, I feel
Because I think our love is real
I hate to se you cry
To always have to wonder why?
I'm sorry I sometime do the things I do
That makes you feel blue
Am sorry if i hurt you so
My anger is sometimes hard to control
I dont like it when you feel insecure
Dont worry so much, because I'm sure
That no one can replace you
Because I not only love your handsome face
But I also love the real you, inside....

A True Poet

She watches the world’s affairs with her heart;
She reads the news deeply into her brain;
She listens to speech and music into her spirit;
She can translate worldly things into a poem.

She can change journals into poetry & art;
Nothing can escape her eyes;
There’s true love in her vision for this universe;
She loves people with empathy.

She adores nature as it is more understanding than humans;
She admires animals with her true love;
She inscribes her nature with honest feelings;
She has true connection with herself and is filled completely within her spirit.

Her inspiration is transcending from her inner aura;
Her emotion is so pure that it cannot be described.
Her love comes from her heart and soul;
She doesn’t give in to things against her conscious.

A poet is so much like true oneness,
Very few fortunate ones are admired as a true poet,
She is poetically one of them.

Mr.Right

The ways your eyes gaze at me
You wish for your eyes to meet mine
The look you have tells me, you think I'm so fine
I want to whisper in your ears
Come and take me away for years,
Away from the chaos,
For I myself may not be able to do so
For you could show me the world
Wonders and adventures could be our life
With colors and euphoria so bright
I know you're the Mr.Right!"
And I shall make your dream come true
My eyes will magically meet you..

Despite the Doubts and Troubles

This poem is dedicated to that special person I hold close to my heart! Thank you for making me a better person! On this special day, I would want to pour my heart out to you...

Despite the doubts and troubles that we've gone through,
There is no doubt at all about your love
Though many now change partners when they want to,
You've found your one and chosen not to move
In doing so, you've given me a picture
More beautiful than any I might draw,
More potent than the most persuasive methods,
With far more force than any rule or law
So much, you've given me! Yet! what you've given me,
Of love and time, money and concern,
Is less than what I've seen, as you have striven
To make our lives, a lesson we might learn!
I'm grateful for the things you did and still do,
But even more, for what you made of you!
I love you!

I Wish...

I wish that I could be with you
And hold you in my arms,
Whisper all my love to you
And kiss away your tears.

I wish that I could take your hurt

And put them all away,
While pleasure lights your smile.

I wish that joy could step inside

Your heart and stay awhile,
And all the rain could turn into
A rainbow in the sun.

And all our loneliness like mist

Could fade into the blue,

But I cannot come home right now,

And you cannot come here;
And so our dreams must be the fields
On which we laugh and play.

If life cannot be what we want,

It will, it will be so;
For love can turn the harshest light
To gold through sheer affection.

Love & Fear

After love and fear, there's pride.
After tears, the night.
After all the words are gone,
A chair with just one light.
After memories, the dream
That you will come home safe.
After sleep, another day
Of waiting for my life.
After hope, the happiness
Thinking of your love.
After moments of despair,
A stone no thought can move.
After all the sacrifices,
The hunger and the pain,
The passions and the promises,
The losses and the gains,
There's nothing but my love for you,
Which waits upon the wind
To bring you from the barricades
That now you must defend.

You wrote her name upon your arms

And looked at me. I wondered why
You hurt me so. What demon drew
You on to be so not like you?
Sometimes it seems you want to cause
Me grief, as if to test the loss
Of me, to see how much sweet pain
You need to feel alive again.
I love you, yet I fear a love
In which my function is to prove
Repeatedly you cannot lose
The thing you want but cannot choose.
I stay in hopes that you will see
Someday you cannot hope to be
Both fully loved and fully free,
For love comes only mutually.

If only there was someone to take me into their arms

Just as a wave is lifted by the shore,
When it breaks across the slowly rising sand,
So as I weep, my feelings pour
Across the wash of what I understand.
I wish I you could just take me into your arms
And all the pain could melt into your chest,
And all the violence of passing storms
Could pass through and finally come to rest.
No words can set things right or presence lend
A miracle to light my darkened way,
But there is solace in a loving friend
And comfort in what you don't have to say.
Whatever circumstance I cannot bear,
I wish I could just turn to you, and I will find you there.

Dreams will come true

Dreams will come true, but only when
They make it through despair,
Limping into everyday
Transformed beyond repair.
No dream would be a dream if it
Could pass for something real,
Nor would we sail for paradise
Would it its shoals conceal.
So it is with love: the dream
Long longed for, now possessed,
Must be a dream no longer, but
An emperor undressed.
Stark naked it must come to us
In unaccustomed shame,
And we must take it in our arms
And love it all the same.
And we must love love as it is
That dreams might still come true,
Mangled into miracles
To make our lives new.

Blessings Are the Things We Take for Granted

Blessings Are the Things We Take for Granted.
Each holiday we notice what we see.
Most know the Earth is utterly enchanted
Yet walk through life and love mechanically.
Valuing one's gifts takes resolution
After days and nights of fantasy.
Love brings the sweet relief of absolution,
Enveloping our hesitance in need.
No touch inspires so swift a revolution,
Transforming all the hieroglyphs we read.
In your love is the charity of spring,
Nor self-obsessed nor blinded by some creed,
Embracing the grey dawns that blessings bring.

Your Soul

Your soul is like the vastest sea.
And mine a darting fish.
I lose myself withing your love.
I live within your heart.
I breathe your love, its my air
My element, my world.
I know no other ambiance.
I have no other dream.
I know there is outside your love,
A world of rocks and sand
And I could live there too,
But how poor and thin each breath
How rich my world is, how beautiful!
Alive within your love
Each moment filled with dancing light
Refracted through your eyes!

Gracefully

We've been friends, and now you're going
Far away for many years
But please don't leave me without knowing
How I feel as your time nears
I know you're older, much mature
And far beyond me in some ways
But there;s between us something pure
Thats given me these magic days
I thank you for the loveliness
That your sweet friendships' brought to me
Think of this poem as a caress
That says, "I LOVE YOU" gracefully

Don't Leave.. Don't Go Away..

I didn't get a chance to say I love you
You were gone before we got that far
All I know is now I really need you
Yet when i look for you, you aren't there.
You said once that you never would forget me
Yet how am I to know without you here?
Such emptiness! Like what I feel within me
Neither sadness nor tears, just cold thin air
Sometimes, alone, I feel your arms around me,
And all my need for you spills out in pain
Jagged memories of you surround me,
I cannot think I wont see you again

Put Our Love On Hold

I do not mean to put our love on hold
I really cant decide what I should do
I don't like always running hot and cold
But I don't know yet what I feel for you
I am afraid of getting too involved
And then, perhaps, of causing greater pain
It's easier to get this thing resolved
Yet then I find I'm weeping once again
If only life were walking on the beach
Talking, laughing, holding honest hands,
With everything we want just out of reach
And no sign of the lurking buts n ands
If I could say just purely the word love
Or bear to turn my back and say goodbye,
Then you and I could from this moment move,
And let ourselves at last rejoice or cry

Innocence

Innocence is like an open door:

Not safe, but requisite to being free.
Darlings of our rhetoric, we wonder,
Evil as the rest but for our words.
Perhaps we are insatiable for more,
Each dreaming of what pleasures there might be,
Needing, in the passion of our plunder,
Delights that drive the destinies of Kurds.
Even so, the freedom we are for
Now stands for all a common legacy,
Called forth by masters tearing worlds asunder,
Embraced by slaves consumed with righteous hunger,
Destined to undo those whom it serves.
All innocents must venture out to sea,
Yearning for an ever-distant shore.

All I ever wanted

All I ever wanted was to love you

As when I saw you first from far away.
But then it was my sweet mistake to have you
Too young to hold the demons long at bay.
For years I hated you, for only hate
Could cauterize the wounds that would not heal,
And gorged myself on fantasies to sate
A hunger I could neither surge nor feel.
Eventually, we both found other loves
And settled into other lives. And yet
The past like some unquiet ghost still moves
Within, too fraught with longing to forget.
We have moved on, as is mature and wise.
But love, though long abandoned, never dies.

More of you...

The more I am away from you,

The more I want you here.
The more I do without your love,
The more I want you near.

I know that it makes little sense

To want what's not around,
But there's just one true love for me
And that's the one I've found.

We've gone through all the weather maps,

The sunshine and the rain,
But I would take a sea of storms
To be with you again.

My Pleasures.. Desires..

There are some pleasures I would try with you

So sweet I cannot tell you what they are.
For love, the dark provides a better view
Of things that words or light may often mar.
So close your eyes and let go of your will;
Let me guide you blind to ecstasy.
Open doors and let desire fill
Each orifice my tongue might let me see.
Beauty's not the slave of just one sense,
But master of them all. The inner eye,
Awake to an aesthetic far more dense
Than sight alone can know, awaits your cry.
So join me in the splendors of the night
Where touch becomes our eyes, and love our light.
